who I am
Soy El Xicano Panther. I think for my Self;—I question Authority. Born in the bordertown Laredo, Tejas, I'm a Xicano in a crazy modern Tejaztlan. I remember my roots, the struggles and the sacrifices my family and Raza have endured. I have warrior spirit of Aztlán—a fighting spirit, of revolution and am a challenge to the American status quo. Soy realista, but at times I have optimism and hope for the future—hope for La Raza—for humanity, equality, respect, and as the US Constitution says, “justice for all”, not only a chosen few. I've worked and organized for social justice, different local groups and movements, and in 2012, I ran for the Texas House of Representatives. I earned my dual bachelors in Xicano Studies & Political Science. I'm here to spread and share truth, knowledge, justice and equality, the Barrio Intellect way. It's about you and it's about our comunidad. Currently, I work in the private sector, contribute to Barrio Intellect, and am a community activist for socioeconomic, racial, and climate justice. I tell it like it is. Black Lives Matter. I strive for Brown & Black Unity--The Third Root. I represent real Hip Hop. Tu eres mi otro yo.
